Resident Evil 6: Part 1

I just started playing Resident Evil 6 on Xbox 360 for the first time, I've started playing as Leon on normal difficulty. In my opinion the normal difficultly isn't really that hard so far, but I've only played it for about an hour, maybe it will get harder as I go on.
The opening scene doesn't really make that much sense initially, but hopefully I'll find out what happened when i play some more. In the tutorial level there are far too many quick time events, it kinda takes the immersion out of the game. Another thing i don't like about the game so far is the display route guide, I've played almost all the Resident Evil games and found them really good (apart from number 5) and found that finding your way around the area yourself is part of the fun, but by using the display route guide it shows you exactly where to go, not fun! You also get a stupid achievement if you're on Xbox when you complete the tutorial which is worth 10 Gamerscore.
After the tutorial though the game kind of gets back to its roots with the creepy atmosphere and dark rooms that make you nervous, which is good in a horror game. When you open your inventory the game doesn't pause unlike the previous games which I can sense will become annoying, we will have to see.
A good thing about the combat side of the game is that if a zombie is holding a weapon (bottles, knifes, sledgehammers, pipes & axes) you can use it against them when you melee them enough times which is good fun and a way to save ammo.
This is only part 1, I will be posting more about the game when I've played it more!

Halo 4

Yet another great game in the Halo series, as always the game play is fantastic in Halo 4. The story picks up a couple of years after Halo 3 where the Master chief and Cortana are alone on the UNSC frigate 'forward unto dawn' after drifting aboard it at the end of Halo 3. You pretty much need to play the previous 3 to understand the story fully. The main story in Halo 4 is about Cortana going rampant after too many years of service as her AI is only built to last seven years but this is her eighth year with Master chief.
I pre ordered the game off Amazon for £38.99 witch then included the Web armor skin, the Bulletproof, and Spartan emblems for the online game play. The pre ordered bonuses vary depending on where you got the game from (The UK bonuses are found here http://www.polygon.com/gaming/2012/9/18/3354788/halo-4-pre-order-bonuses-the-uk

I think my only complaint about the story in Halo 4 is that its a little short for my liking, I just didn't want it to end as quickly as it did, but the story does keep you coming back to play more and more day by day. Another thing i was disappointed by was that the Flood didn't make a return, I always enjoyed blowing those guys up. Ah well you can't have it all haha!
Even though the story was a bit short you can always play online for infinite hours of fun and as always with a Halo game it has the best online game play by far in my opinion. With a good connection you pretty much re spawn instantly there's no waiting 3 or 5 seconds, your shot straight back into the action.
I would definitely recommend Halo 4 but if you played the first 3 then you already know how good this game will be! To sum up, its an incredible game with amazing graphics and game play throughout the whole game. The online play is the best I've ever played. Only complaint is the short story.
   Definitely worth buying!!
